Our snowmobile trails are home to more high-elevation lookouts than anywhere else in the province, making West NB the perfect place to spend a day chasing panoramic views. While the scenery from one lookout to the next may have something in common, the ride to get there is always different. Wind through snow-covered forests, climb into the high country, and discover a new perspective around every turn.
Kenneth Lookout sits deep in the Highlands, reached via Local Trail 483 from Trail 478 or 479. A long-time local favourite, this remote lookout offers a space to pause and take in the vastness of the surrounding wilderness. At the top, the forest seems to stretch endlessly, with layers of snow-covered hills and rugged woodland rolling toward the horizon. Rest at the picnic table and take a moment to listen to the quiet around you. Before heading back down, be sure to find the guest book at the top of the rest area and leave your mark alongside fellow riders who have made the journey.
Make a day of your ride with nearby stops including: Camp 55 Warm Up Shelter, Britt's Convenience, and Rusty Lantern Cabins, all adding to the adventure beyond the lookout.
