Overview
Our Snowmobile trails are home to more high-elevation lookouts than anywhere else in the province, making it the perfect place to spend a day chasing panoramic views. While the scenery from one lookout to the next may have something in common, the ride to get there is always different. Wind through forests, climb into the high country, and discover a new perspective around every turn.
Ayers Lake Lookout can be reached via local Trail 429, branching off from local Trail 460. Beneath the winter snow lies Ayers Lake, known for its deep, cool waters and self-sustaining lake trout population. From the lookout, riders can take in the surrounding wilderness and get a sense of the landscape without venturing directly into this sensitive ecosystem. The lake is one of 1,220 recognized ecosystem conservation sites, making this elevated viewpoint a chance to experience a remarkable natural area while leaving it undisturbed.
Make a day of your ride with nearby stops including: Balancing Rock, Barrett's Store, and Millville shelter, all adding to the adventure beyond the lookout.
