Families will appreciate the gentle, inviting shoreline of North Lake Beach—perfect for little swimmers to splash and play. There are endless opportunities for adventures here - bring your kayaks or stand-up paddleboards for a relaxing paddle around the lake, splash and swim in the water or take in the sunshine on the beach. The shores are sandy, and a dip in the water is the perfect way to cool off in the heat of the summer. This is the only beach in Western New Brunswick, and it is only an hour drive from most communities in the region, making it the perfect daytrip.
New this year, North Lake Beach is run by the Wotstak (Woodstock) First Nation, who have taken on operations in order to ensure that this West NB treasure remains open to the public this summer.
The beach is open to public Thursday through Monday, 11AM - 9PM.
