Overview

Celebrate the flavors of the Maritimes with a meal at Sumac. A seasonal menu means that ingredients are always fresh, featuring unexpected twists on classic favorites. Local greens are celebrated in the Early Summer Greens with a dandelion pesto, while steamed bay mussels and Fundy scallops honor the Maritime connection to the ocean that borders us. Entrees feature ethically sourced meat cooked to perfection, including molasses glazed pork, New Brunswick raised steak and roasted chicken jus along with seasonal veggies to complement. 

Dessert is just as exciting - local rhubarb becomes a pavlova topped with whipped yogurt and delicate chocolate sponge cake is paired with fresh strawberries and an oat crumble. Savory diners will appreciate the New Brunswick Cheese Plate, a selection of specialty cheeses served alongside dandelion honey, rhubarb and a house-made sourdough crostini. 

Come by a bit early and head upstairs - The Canopy offers seasonal drinks and local brews on tap for the perfect apertif.
